We cater to boating enthusiasts right around Australia as well as local customers in and around the Gippsland Lakes.
From timber boats to super yachts, we design and manufacture the highest quality custom covers for your boat. This enhances the look of your boat while ensuring a long life and ease of use.
We are located in Swan Reach, close to Metung, Lakes Entrance, Bairnsdale and Paynesville. We design and manufacture bespoke boat covers and upholstery for private owners, commercial vessels, and charter businesses. We specialise in on-water boats, timber boats , and classic boats. We frequently travel interstate for our clients. (Due to Covid restrictions travel may not be possible.)
Canvas Barn Marine Trimming can advise on the best products to complete your job. We only use high-end fabrics, including Sunbrella® acrylic canvas by Glen Raven, Stamoid marine PVC by Serge Ferrari, PTFE thread by Tenara, with a choice of Bonded Acrylic or Polycarbonate, Strataglass Pressed Polished Glass and Extruded Roll Glass for your enclosure. We use stainless fittings and specialty upholstery fabrics suited to marine conditions. We recommend SeaDek and Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl flooring as a wonderful, easy clean alternatives to regular marine carpets.
Your boat cover needs to be able to withstand all the bad weather the marine environment throws at it. The fabric we use has to be strong and look good. It needs to be easy to clean, and resistant to mildew. The fabric needs to do this for many years! The team at Canvas Barn Marine Trimming only recommend and use materials of the highest quality. We will also advise on care for your boat covers and can advise on repairing your existing covers. We can supply care products you will need to keep your cover in great condition.
