Hi there, and welcome to Canvas Barn Marine Trimming!

We have been working hard on developing our new website for the last few weeks. What you see here is the start of some exciting times.

Sharing our passion for Marine Trimming with everyone is something we can’t stop ourselves from doing.

Canvasbarn.com will showcase our latest projects, along with those from the past, from Clear enclosures, storm covers, spray dodgers, biminis, sail covers right through to full interior upholstery, including cushions, carpets and linings.

We are heading into our busy season and already have many projects lined up for the upcoming months.

We have a lot of exciting projects on the go at the moment.

  • Fabrication of a new bimini and clear enclosure on a 56′ Kings Yacht cruiser.
  • Installation of a hardtop bimini we had custom made and enclosing with clears.
  • A full set of cushions for a beautiful Huon pine yacht that is being fitted out for a voyage to Malaysia next year.
  • A Bimini and pontoon covers for a really nice Zodiac inflatable.

Busy times ahead, roll on summer.

We love making boat covers, adding function and fashion to boats of all shapes and sizes. We continually search for new products that last longer, stow away smaller and make your time on the water more pleasurable.

Please keep coming back, we are working on a store. Cleaning & care products along with canopy fittings will be the first to hit the e-shelves.

Meanwhile, check out and like us on Facebook for a daily weather report for the Gippsland Lakes.

About the author, Azz Stroud Smith

  • Could not be happier with the service and workmanship of my new bimini, curtains and stern cover, for our Riviera Offshore.
Canvas Barn will be my go to Trimmer from this day forward.
    Cheers, Canvas Barn.

  • Thanks Andrew. It was a pleasure to work on your boat. We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit. Marlin or snapper? What will it be? 😉
